* Utilizes a 650 nm, 7 mW laser diode, made by an ISO 9001 diode manufactuter, not a cheap China laser that will die prematurely. These are long lifetime devices.
* Operates on 3 volts DC,drawing about 25 mA. Two batteries at 1.5 V each is fine.
* Opeartes with only about 15 mA of current.
* ~4 mW of laser power output, Class IIIa.

Easy hook- up- just add 3 volts DC and go. Has standard 0.1" female header type connector (PC mother borad type jumper style) at end of ~ 6" leads Operates on 3 volts DC, Opeartes with about 25 mA of current. ~ 4 mW of laser power output, Class IIIa. All < 5 mW. Write us if you need higher powered units. This is our CA-3-650 module. See photo of beam. Beam may look like comet with tail, or have long ends at tips. Again easy to clear- just block the ends at the module by passing beam through hole, washer, etc. The trays are unsorted, so some beams may have tail, others are fine. Since we are not sorting them, it is your gain with a lower cost!Ask any questions needed.
