This filter is NOS from an instrument manufacturer. The filter separates a band of UV and Deep Blue, by transmitting it, while reflecting at right angles nearly all of the Cyan Green and Red.to 570nm.
This Dichroic would be suitable for trans-illumination with the fluorescence reflected at right angle; for Q-Dots or other Blue excited dyes.
filter specifications follow: Transmission band 300 to 460 with average of 95%, Transmission, and reflection band 480 to 570 nm with an average of > 99%, Size 25 mm, Substate material is fused Silica with a thickness of 1mm. Original cost $150.
