This is the primary means for interrupting 3 phase fault currents.
Consists of 3 vauccum bottle interrupters driven by a DC solenoid and insulating rod actuator assembly.
Control voltage is derived brom rectified 120 VAC through a diode bridge.
Control line is driven on the DC side of the bridge by a solid state switch to achieve fast interrupt times.
