This filter is custom over-run from a fluorescence microscope project. The filter separates a band of UVA by reflecting it at right angles to the incidence light, while transmitting nearly all of the visible light.
The filter makes a very good epi-illuminator of UV excitation, onto a sample, where the emitted light is retro-transmitted through this filter.
filter specifications follow: Reflection band 300 to 390 with average of 90%, Transmission band 420 to 750 nm with an average of 95%, Size 19 mmdia, Substate material is fused silica. Original cost $150
