This a new and unused Solartron Linear Encoder, Model LE/25/S, with 1 inch (25 mm) of travel and a resolution of 2 millionths of an inch (0.05 microns, or 50 nanometers). It is furnished complete with all original accessories, manuals, and software. It is equipped with an RS-232C interface, so that you can communicate directly with the gage from any PC or PLC. It is an unused spare from a completed project. Original OEM price was over $2500.
