Thermistor/Resistor Probe Kits
These Kits include NTC Thermistors and 1% resistors. When connected in series across a DC voltage, the measured voltage across either the resistor or thermistor can be used to determine the temperature of the thermistor.
The recommended circuit assumes the thermistor (RT) is remote to the fixed resistor RS, and RS is connected to ground. The voltage (VS), across RS then increases as temperature of the thermistor increases. (Voltage across thermistor will decrease as temperature increases.)
