These are NEW / Unused surplus in mint condition
* Center hub with electromagnet accepts 1 1/4 inch dia. keyed shaft up to 1.440 inches long
* There is a roller bearing in the section between the input and output shaft area, with approx 1 inch inside diameter
* Outside hub accepts a 1 1/4 inch dia. keyed shaft up to 2.400 inches long
* 8 Clutch Discs with outside diameter of 7 1/4 inch
* Overall diameter 7 3/4 inch
These clutches were made to be mounted between two 1 1/4" diameter keyed shafts. The main body is free of axial force [that means it does not rotate], the little tab protruding from the clutch is all that is required to keep body from rotating.
I do not have torque or RPM ratings on this item, these clutches were purchased for use in electric [75 HP] and diesel motor [120HP] driven refrigeration compressors, the compressors were very large piston type compressors with these clutches used for cycling compressor on/off while motor ran continuously.
