These things are unbelievable. They are butchered from another part but they practically jump out at you as an obvious Z-Axis for a cnc table.
These units posess a 1.8 degree unipolar stepper, a belt driven drive screw(with ratio increase), a rod slide, and a self lubricating nut/slide that acts on the drive screw and the guide simultaneously. These things are super stable, virtually backlash free and have monster holding torque. With 3.4 inches of travel, you can see how these are perfect for routing and plasma table applications.
