Piezo Electronic Sounder, Lot of 10 Pieces
These are Piezo Audio Transducers mfd by muRata, Part # PKM44EW-1001D.They are NOT beepers, but more like a Piezo loud speaker, and require externaldrive. They are frequently used in applications such as electronic telephone ringers.
Drive power required is virtually zero. Output level is rated for 75db at the
resonant frequency of 1-kHz, but they will operate over a very wide frequency
range. Maximum drive is 30-volts P-P, and they have a capacitance of 68nF.
Operating temperature range is -30C to +70C. Size is aprox 1-3/4" diameter by
1/2" tall. Wire leads are 3-3/4" long. I have driven these directly from aBasic Stamp port with a .1uF capacitor in series.
