Brand new, in original box, it's sturdy, well-designed, and finished in a fine, powder coat texture. The Monitormate by Intellaspace combines flexibility, convenience, comfort and ease of use!
This professional monitor lift was designed for work environments where multiple users share the same workstation and frequent positioning of the monitor is required. I like to say that this practical, functional piece was "designed by someone who actually uses it." By merely exerting fingertip control, the monitor can be quickly moved anywhere within an impressive 16" travel range. An front-mounted adjustment knob dials in support anywhere from 15 to 60 pounds.
Works great with CRT and 19" or larger Flat-Screen monitors. We use it with 17 inch LCD monitors by adding additional weight to achieve a counter-balance for ease of positioning.
Makes a superior riser for CPU's by keeping them off the floor and providing an easier reach to your CD drive, USB ports and Memory Card readers.

The stand 'floats' a monitor from approximately 5" to 21" high by the counter-force exerted by 8 steel springs. The tension of the springs is adjusted by turning a knob on the front, central pivot point of the arm.
Also Includes Monitor securing clamps, a non-skid rubber platform mat and non-skid rubber feet platform.
The upper platform measures about 12" x 13" and the base measures about 15" x 16".
The arms are about 4 1/2" x 3" and the complete unit weighs about 39 pounds.
