I have the 120/240v single phase model wired to my panel at home and on one occasion both of the 20A breakers that it is attached to were tripped one morning. Not sure what had caused it (they were the 2 kitchen counter breakers and I forgot that that is where I had attached the surge killer) I simply reset them so I could cook breakfast. Being an Electrician I later got a call from a hotel down the street because they had taken such a spike overnight that it had blown out their entire phone system to the toon of $5000.00. We had lost nothing and the surge was not damaged at all and is still doing it's job to this day. The hotel had me install one of these 3 phase units promptly and has never had another problem.
