This is a very powerful DC motor producing ½ HP at 24 VDC. It is cooled by an internal fan for higher than normal output for a motor it size which is approximately 750 size. It is 2.64 inches long and 1.7 inches in diameter. It has a threaded shaft that is .2 inches in diameter and 1.17 inches long. It operates from 1.5V to 24V. At no load it will use 1.75 Amps at 12V and 2.75 Amps at 24 VDC. I hooked it up to two 12V car batteries to make 24V and I ran it for over 4 hours. It stayed cool, warm to the touch for the entire time it ran. It has a torque output of 24 oz inch and an RPM of 27,000 approximately at 24 VDC, 14,000 RPM approximately at 12 VDC and approximately 7,000 at 6 VDC. Full load Amps is approximately 20. This motor would be great for all types of RC application requiring high power output. This motor can also be tailored with the correct voltage to provide very long run times while providing great performance. You can gain more torque than any hand held drill if geared properly. It comes with white plastic mounting bracket that is easily removable with a phillips screwdriver through the removal of two screws. The mounting bracket has 3 holes which can be seen in the pictures for mounting. The tapered wholes for the screws can also be used for easy mounting. This motor is new, however it has been in storage for some time and so has some rust. I do not know if any of it is visible in the picture. The picture is representative of what the motor looks like. This motor is thought to be manufactured in china for 12 VDC.
