MICROSTEPPING STEPPER STEP MOTOR DRIVE CNC EMCO
* This listing is for a Mircostepping Stepper Motor Drive (up to 10 drives available, price is for 1 drive)
* They are industrial rated drives made for continuous use at full rated power. For serious use, they can be mounted (recommended) to a heatsink to keep the heat outside the CNC control cabinet. The drives do not need to be insulated. Just bolt directly to a heatsink and you are done.
* Current selectable from 1.5 amps all the way to a whopping 7 amps.
* Easy interface to PC based MACH3 CNC software. Drive it with your parallel port via Step & Direction inputs. Having all drives the same makes doing a 2 axis Lathe or a 3 axis mill smooth and easy. Since you can preset the motor current, you can put a bigger motor on your Z axis if needed.
* 10 microsteps per step resolution is perfect for 1/4-20 pitch leadscrews. Also usable with leadscrew pitch at 4 or 5 turns per inch. With a 200 step/rev motor, you get 2000 microsteps at full rated power.
* Supplies plenty of power for benchtop CNC equipment. Sherline, Emco, & Dynamite machines are excellent candidates for these drives.
