General Functional Description:
The Model 1900 Solder Dipper is designed to automatically flux and tin many types of electronic packages with precise control of dip rate and dwell time. Immersion and emersions rates are either fixed at 1 inch per second or variable if that option is chosen to be added later.. Dwell time is continuously adjustable over a range of 0 to 10 seconds.
Three horizontal magnetic holders are mounted to the holder arm to hold most package types (cerDIPs, pDIPs, TO-cans, flatpacks, leadframes). Packages that are non-magnetic may be held in position with a Model 1920 Vacuum System which is sold separately.
Coarse and fine height adjustments are provided to set the dipping depth. A footswitch is included for remote operation.
