The C9225BLT is a leap forward in multifunction technology, allowing test modules to be added and a variety of different measurement techniques to be used. It exceeds the specifications of its predecessor the C9925XB, in almost every aspect. New technology has been employed to increase speed and accuracy while reducing size and weight. The C9925BLT also adds new features like Caller ID, Pair Diagnostic Macros, and High Energy Fault Locating Tone. The High Voltage Soak and True Longitudinal Balance tests provide a powerful combination to expose potentially noisy pairs. More importantly, the BLT introduces the multifunction concept. The C9925BLT is a portable field test platform to which additional hardware and software can be added. Hardware additions are as simple as changing a module. Software functions are easily downloaded from a PC. This allows the unit to incorporate different test technologies in the same unit. Using the BLT, one field technician is able to use the best method, to faultfind different types of subscriber services with a single test set.
