If you work on Fanuc control systems and have the need to backup and restore CNC Data, Parameters and Programs along with PMC parameters than this manual is for you.
It provides you with all the information that you need to perform system backup and restore on many types of Fanuc control systems. It guides you with all the information you need such as cable pin out parameter settings and software settings using ProComm software for your backup and restore.
The setup information applies to ProComm Plus 2.0® for Windows 95/98 through version 4.8 for Windows 95/98/2000/XP to backup and restore data.
This manual uses ProComm 4.8 but if you have a different version of ProComm or some other type of communication software you will have to adjust the setting in your version to match. The information is still good but the settings are just set in a different way.
The manual is 75 pages in length and gives step by step instructions along with many Fanuc screen shots and parameter settings to help you complete your task.
