The Model 311 SHORT STOP offers a fast and easy way to check your electrical tools for safety. Just plug in the tool, attach the ground clip, operate a few switches following the number sequence indicated on the front of the panel; the PASS/FAIL lamps will tell you if the tool is safe or not. It is ideal for repeated testing of small tools and appliance drawing up to 15 amperes.

Double Insulated Case For your safety
The PASS and FAIL lamps make it so easy that employees are encouraged to check their tools before each use.
Electrical: Designed to test double insulated and metal cased tools and appliances.

Short test: Red SHORT lamp indicates if tool under test is shorted.
Leakage current test: Amber PASS lamp indicates a safe tool if leakage current is less than 0.7 milliamperes.
Self test: Allows you to verify the tester's operation.
Sensitivity range: Trip point adjustable from 0.4 to 1.0 milliamperes for special applications.
