- Because of no discharge resister, high voltage can be dangerous even if you disconnect AC input
- Capacitor input circuit with current limiting resistor
- Full wave and bridge rectification compatible : This PCB can support both rectification according to your Transfromer. So, If you have CT based power transformer, 3-PIN input connector, 2 ultra fast diodes and 2-PIN output connector with 3 capacitors / 1 resistor are required(As shown in picture).
- And if you have non CT power transformer, 2-PIN input connector, 4 ultra fast diodes and 2-PIN output connector with 3 capacitors / 1 resistor are required(Not shown in picture).
- Recommended parts for low ~ mid power amplifier : 3-PIN/2-PIN connectors(for full wave) or 2 2-PIN connectors(for bridge), 2 or 4 ultra fast recovery diodes(UF4007), 68uF 450V, 330uF 450V, 0.01uF 630V, 10 Watt 30~50 ohm.
- To minimize transient current, input capacitors are set to 68uF and 330uF with current liminting resistor.
- Choke can be used instead of high wattage resistor
- Tested result : 278V AC input -> Output voltage is 293V DC @ no load, In actual use, output voltage will drop tens of volts according to your amplifier.
- Current is depend on your transformer and output power
