This item is a new in the box (c/w instructions and mounting screws) REMOTE WALK TEST SONALERT model No. RS-1 made by SONTRIX. It is housed in a round plastic enclosure and has a piezo alarm and one red LED on the cover. Inside there is a 3 position terminal block for connections (positive, negative and control). I tested the unit at 12Vdc and works all way down to 5Vdc. Upon connecting the power you can trigger the alarm by connecting the control pin (marked SH) to the positive side of the power.
