Gear Reducer Drive with electric brake. There is no name plate on the drive, it is only marked R3 Reducer. Ratio is 60 to 1. There are two access ports, one near the top and one on the bottom. Shaft is 1†diameter x 1.75†long. There is a chain sprocket 3†diameter with 11 teeth. On the motor side the shaft is 7/8†diameter and 2.75†long. On this shaft is a electric brake and a pulley. The pulley is 9†diameter, 1/2†belt. The electric brake is spring loaded and is actuated by 120V solenoid. There are plugs for oil level, fill and drain. At the base are 4 mounting holes 6†x 5†center to center. Because of the large pulley the drive has to be elevated minimum 2â€. Dimensions- 6.5†x 10†x 9†(not counting shafts and solenoid).
